Gary brought this small bundle of fur to his first Puppy class, and immediately you could see this was going to be a great partnership! All of us that were working with David the Dogman then knew that they were destined to go on and do well, as Arnie had the ability and Gary the enthusiasm!
Over the years Gary spent at the school this enthusiasm never waned, and the bond between him and Arnie continued to grow, and both have achieved great success, in Obedience and Agility, as well as being introduced to defence work with David. Gary never got stressed or angry if things didn't go quite right in those early puppy days, and would often arrive early to work with Arnie before the class, giving him time to settle before launching himself totally in what we were doing. Now with 3 dogs, his ability to understand each of their needs is a testament to the competent and patient handler that he has become. Gary has all the qualities needed to pass this well learnt knowledge on to others, and I wish him nothing but success!
